Breathing takes oxygen in and carbon dioxide out of the body. Aerobic organisms ( living cells ) require oxygen to create energy via respiration ( respiration is a process in living organisms involving the production of energy, and then release waste products )

Yawning is a reflex of inhalation of air and stretching, caused by lack of oxygen
